We now have an indoor classroom with a glass observation hive so we can operate the workshops whatever the weather.
Beginners Beekeping Course:
6 hours
🌼Run by Ash an experienced beekeeper and qualified teacher.
🌼The course has been designed to build your knowledge about bees and give practical hands-on experience either over a 6 hour day or 2 hours over three consecutive Saturdays
🌼We'll cover all the basics you need to know to start keeping your own bees whilst learning to read the bees by going through the hives together.
🌼Includes all equipment: bee suit and gloves and no experience is necessary
🌼Each participant gets a beginners beekeeping book to keep and refer to I will provide all safety equipment and learning resources.
🌼Tea and cake is provided
Limited spaces are available, run as a small group activity
Beekeeping Experience:
2 hours
🌼A two-hour experience where you will learn about honey bees, how to suit up, go through a hive, read the bees and spot the queen.
🌼Enjoy tea and cake on the beautiful farm afterwards and learn more about the fascinating life of bees
🌼Includes all equipment: bee suit and gloves and no experience is necessary
Limited spaces are available: run as a small group activity from 2 - 4pm
